Laurie has always had a flair for the creative, whether it be working with words, with food, with pencil and paper or with a keyboard and a mouse.

Since graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies, Laurie has applied her marketing, communications and design knowledge and creativity in industries including sales, manufacturing, engineering  and telecom consulting.

Seeking more variety in her work and a greater level of satisfaction, both for herself and for her clients, Laurie took the leap to self-employment in 2007. Offering web site design, graphic design, copywriting and e-newsletter services, eMotivate Marketing assists small- to mid-size businesses improve their bottom lines by marketing smarter and greener.
