Tips - Eat Green

The first step toward eating greener is not necessarily to start eating organically grown food. Something that is grown and/or produced half way around the world leaves quite a negative environmental imprint after being shipped to the eventual point of sale.

The focus instead should be on selecting items that are LOCALLY PRODUCED. Beyond that, look for items that are made using ethical and sustainable methods - in other words, food that is Good, Clean and Fair. You don't get more local than your back yard but, if you lack time or have a thumb that isn't as green as you'd like it to be, look to local growers or shops that specialize in sourcing Good, Clean, Fair products.
