Tips - Live
Green
Living green comprises all of the choices we make day to day - how
to get to work, how to bag and where to buy our groceries, how to
reduce our consumption, and reuse and recycle what we can, how to
reduce our carbon imprint (and just what is a carbon imprint,
anyway?), etc.
Many
times, consumers feel so overwhelmed by the options available and
the confusion created by mixed marketing messages, that they become
numb and complacent relegating themselves to the status quo.
Below
are some solutions that are easy-to-implement and represent
sure-fire ways to live greener.

Choosing
green,
carbon-free power is an easy way to do your part to help
fight climate change and create a healthier environment for
future generations. That’s why more and more homes and
businesses are choosing to go green with Bullfrog Power.
Founded in 2005,
Bullfrog Power is a leading provider of 100%
green
electricity, with service available to Ontario and Alberta
residents and businesses. Bullfrog Power provides Canadians
with a convenient way to support locally generated renewable
power. All of Bullfrog’s power comes from clean,
green
sources like wind power and low-impact water power. And all
of Bullfrog's generators have received Environment Canada’s
Environmental Choice Program EcoLogoM certification.
No installation, no
special equipment:
Switching to
Bullfrog Power is one of the easiest ways to reduce your
home’s environmental impact. For homes that are separately
metered and receive a bill from the local electricity
utility, switching your electricity account to Bullfrog is a
breeze. Simply sign up online using your current electricity
account number to become a bullfrog powered home. Your local
utility then provides Bullfrog Power with your meter read
information so that they can bill you for the correct usage.
They then inject EcoLogoM-certified green power onto the
Ontario electricity grid to match the amount your home uses.
No special equipment, no service calls. It’s that simple!
